Beach Hockey Rules from June 2024
Beach Hockey is an alternative version of the game which supports both the global development of hockey and enhancing the skills and enjoyment of the players.
Beach hockey uses modified field hockey sticks with holes in the head to enable sand to travel through easily.
A soft leather ball replaces the regular hard dimpled hockey ball.

Goals can be scored from anywhere on the field.

Players may not play with the foot or body.

The ball may be played over shoulder height.

Free hits may be shot at the goal from anywhere.

The game start takes place with all players lining up in their defensive back line.

One player runs and competes for possession of the ball.
