Mazuki Arai 

Mazuki Arai – Head of Sport
Mazuki Arai joins World Beach Hockey as Head of Sport, bringing extensive international playing, coaching, and development experience.
A former member of the Japan women's national field hockey team from 2007 to 2014, Mazuki represented Japan at major international events including the Women's Hockey World Cup, Asian Games, and Women's Hockey Champions Trophy. She also competed in the Men's and Women's Hockey5s Asia Cup and represented Japan in indoor hockey.
Mazuki holds a FIH Academy Level 3 Coach/Developer qualification and has played an important role in coach education through the Japan Hockey Association, where she has organized national coaching courses and FIH Academy development programs. Her career combines elite sport, grassroots development, and event management, with strong experience in athlete development and sports administration. 
As Head of Sport, Mazuki will help shape the sporting vision of WBH, support international development pathways, and contribute to the growth of beach hockey worldwide.
