Ashley has almost 40 years experience in the media, having worked in print media, radio and television. He has made four award-winning documentaries and written six books, three on hockey. His voice is known to many in the hockey community having commentated on the sport across the globe. He has also worked in the corporate world having been Cargo Manager Australia and New Zealand for South African Airways. Ashley was Born in England and had ambitions to play professional cricket, having migrated to Australia, today he calls Perth home, but admits that he still cannot support is the Australian cricket team!
