Joslyn Hoyt-Smith Joins our Executive Committee

We welcome Joslyn to our committee and value the contributions she will make with her impressive achievements and skill set.

Olympic and Commonwealth medallist , Joslyn has been involved in high-performance sport for over 16 years and has competed in two Olympic Games. Jos won a bronze medal as part of the 4 x 400m relay team at the 1980 Olympics and is now President of the GB Olympians . 

Athlete Assessor for the WAoS

 Formerly Operations Manager for the English Institute of Sport , now UK Institute managing 5 sites.  Previously a member of the Sports Coach UK Board, Chair of the UK Coaching Awards Judging Panel and Chair of the Coaching Standards Group.

Lecturer, coach and mentor her passion is working with young people in voluntary work for Girl guides along with her fostering role for the last 10 years

Joslyn is now working to develop and manage Gibraltar Institute of Sport and was awarded the MBE March 2024 .
