A great story out of Kenya, check out Tunza Sports and the great work they do with girls and women in their country. Well done to them and the teams that competed in the NOCK beach games recently.
NOCK- Olympics Kenya organized Beach Hockey Games in Malindi provided us with a multifaceted experience that went far beyond just the competitive aspect of the sport. We had valuable cultural interactions, fostering greater appreciation for diversity.
Additionally, the coastal location enabled us to immerse ourselves in the marine and coastal environment, observing the unique flora and fauna, and engaging in various aquatic activities beyond the hockey games, such as swimming and snorkeling. In this end this was really, the sports tourism expedition in its entirety, which proved to be an enriching experience, blending learning, sports, cultural exchange, and environmental exploration.
